The Sure Start Reading Roadmap
Our proven program is designed for children in Pre-K through 2nd grade (and beyond), whether they’re just beginning to learn how reading works, or they need extra support with letters, sounds, and reading words and sentences with confidence.
How our program works:

Start the journey to confident reading - one simple step at a time.
Give your child the strongest start to reading with Level 1: Letters & Sounds.
This beginner-friendly level helps pre-readers confidently recognize letters, connect letters to sounds, and build the early phonemic awareness skills needed to start reading real words. Each lesson is short, simple, and rooted in what actually works. No teaching experience needed.
Inside, you’ll get 9 weeks of step-by-step instruction, a student workbook full of interactive learning activities, and a parent guide that walks you through everything. With engaging video lessons and fun, hands-on activities, your child will build real reading skills without frustration or overwhelm.
Ready to help your child go from sounding out letters to reading real words?
Level 2 helps beginning readers build confidence as they learn to blend three sounds into short vowel words, such as cat, mud, and bed. With short, playful lessons and step-by-step guidance, your child will finally feel what it’s like to read words, not just guess at them.
Inside, you’ll get 6 weeks of structured instruction, a 123-page Student Workbook full of hands-on activities, and a parent guide that makes teaching reading simple. With video lessons, phonics games, and small confidence-boosting wins, this level turns frustration into real reading momentum.
