Level 5 of Sure Start Reading teaches advanced vowel patterns, including r-controlled vowels (ar, ir, ur) and diphthongs (oi, ou, ow). These patterns often cause young readers to pause, guess, or lose confidence. Each short, structured lesson helps your child decode tricky vowel patterns accurately, strengthen fluency, and feel confident reading any new word they see.
